Plot
NBC Description
DARFUR--NOAH WYLE RETURNS, EAMONN WALKER ("OZ") AND MARY MCCORMACK ("The West Wing") GUEST STAR: Dr. Carter (Noah Wyle) is joined by Dr. Dakarai (Eamonn Walker) in the Sudanese desert as they work to treat hundreds of disease infested, and famine stricken people.
Carter and Dr. Dakarai must spring into action to save a woman who was raped by a militant group.
Meanwhile, back at County General, Dr. Clemente (John Leguizamo) continues to struggle to try to prove his innocence.
Pratt (Mekhi Phifer) and Neela (Parminder Nagra) quickly work to save a 14 year-old involved in a hit and run accident, but Pratt is infuriated when he discovers who hit the young teen.
Laura Innes, Goran Visnjic, Maura Tierney and Scott Grimes also star.

Trivia
- The voice over by Dr. Carter in the beginning scenes outlining previous episodes did not actually occur in the original episode. Those scenes contained the song "Many Rivers to Cross" as the episode ended.
- Dr. Stephen Dakarai asks Carter how long his wife is in Paris which indicates that Carter did marry Kem when he left County.
Goofs
° At the border checkpoint in Darfur when the Jeeps meet, the camera shot shows Carter seated and holding up his badge for the African officer. When the perspective changes to outside the Jeep looking in at Carter he isnt holding the badge any more. A second later when we return to the original perspective, Carter is again holding his badge outstretched and his position in the seat has shifted.
